Assosa University (ASU) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Hubei University, Hubei University of and Technology, and Hubei University of Science and Technology in the People’s Republic of China to strengthen international academic and research cooperation.
The agreements were signed by Dr. Yared Mulu, President of Assosa University, during his official visit to China. The partnerships aim to promote collaborative research, student and staff exchange programs, joint seminars and research conferences, Chinese language training for ASU staff and the local community, and other areas of institutional development.
As an Applied Science University, ASU expects the collaboration to create opportunities for applied research, innovation, knowledge exchange, capacity building, and community-oriented development initiatives.
The agreements mark an important milestone in Assosa University’s efforts to expand global partnerships, enhance academic excellence, and strengthen its international engagement for the benefit of students, staff, and society.
