Assosa University has successfully conducted its 11th annual national research oonference under the theme, “From Shelf to Society: Leveraging Research and Innovation for Community Transformation.”
On the closing session of the conference, Dr. Kumilachew Alemu, Director for Research, Publication Ethics and Extention, reported that about 36 research papers from different disciplines were presented on the conference and among these,19 of them were conducted by Assosa University staff.
Appreciating the University, the conference participants discussed about their stay at Assosa University and on the success and areas of improvements for the next research conference led by Dr.Oumer Sherif, Vice President for Research and Technology Transcer and Dr.Abdulmuhsin Hassen, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Finaly,cerificate of recognition was awarded for all paper presenters, facilitators and the orginzing committee.
