Assosa University Conducts ELIC Training for Instructors

Assosa University has successfully organized a two-day English Language Improvement and 21st Century Skills (ELIC) Training for its instructors.
 
On the training, Mr. Fekadu Dagnaw, Teachers Development and Continuous Professional Enhancement Officer, informed that the training primarily focused on Classroom English and Academic Writing Skills. He also noted that the aim of the training is to strengthen teachers’ professionalism through experience sharing, enhance English language proficiency, and promote the effective use of English as an instructional medium in the teaching and learning process.
 
The participants included instructors from all departments who had not previously attended the training, as well as newly recruited faculty members.
 
This initiative reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to empowering its academic staff with essential skills that foster effective teaching-learning, research excellence, and international collaboration.
