𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

A two-day training program on Designing and Implementation of Thematic Researches launched today, bringing together researchers and academic leaders to strengthen research capabilities in Ethiopian universities.

Dr. Abdlmuhsin Hassen, Vice President of Research and Technology Transfer, commenced the interactive training session. In his opening remarks, Dr. Abdlmuhsin emphasized the growing implementation of thematic research across universities and highlighted the training’s significance in enhancing researchers’ competencies in this area.

Mr. Alebachew Birhan, representing the Ministry of Education, underscored that the initiative aligns with broader research reforms aimed at developing essential skill sets and establishing support systems to facilitate universities’ transition toward thematic research approaches.

The training is being conducted by Professor Masresha Fetene, an Emeritus Professor from Addis Ababa Univesity. Prof. Masresha’s expertise in academic research and leadership adds significant value to this capacity-building initiative.

The training program will continue tomorrow, furthering efforts to strengthen research capabilities across Ethiopian academic institutions.
