ASU holds discussion on strengthening linkage among the University’s departments
The discussion was held at the University meeting hall on June 9/2017 which was facilitated by Alumnae and University Industry Linkage Directorate with the aim of making strong linkage among internal community of the University.

The participants of the discussion were the University’s higher officials, Directors, College deans, Department heads, team leaders and facilitators who are expected to be a role model in making linkage among the departments.
At the opening of the discussion, Dr. Haimanot Disassa, vice president for Research and Community Service, suggested the importance of the discussion and noted that making strong linkage among the internal community in the University is very crucial to serve the community.
To create awareness written document was presented by Mr. Kefyalew Geleta, Alumnae and University Industry Linkage Directorate Director, with the theme of ‘’Let us develop our University by making Linkage!’’. The document gave emphasis about the importance of University industry linkage to attain vision and mission of the University through participating in community service and consultation.
In addition to this, best practices of experience shared from different Universities in the area of technology transfer, dissemination and internship which were presented by Mr.Zerihun Mulu. On these points, participants made hot discussion and appreciated the event as it contributes to the improvement of the University in the areas of technology transfer and dissemination.
